You remember when we were all kids and you'd look at an adult and say to yourself, "I'll *never* be *that* old". It's funny, as much as I agree with most of your points, I didn't see them as being enough to swing the balance from "enjoy" to "waste of time". I believe this will be the last Bay movie I ever see as his work tends to be insulting but I'm glad I saw this one. I like when robots make that sound as they do the presto-change-o. One thing I *hate* when listening to a review of something is when people read into the material, thus doing all the work for the writer, but I find myself doing that with this movie. Don't know why. And then, when my brain starts spinning out plausible explanations for this or that, another part of my brain says, "dude, really? You're trying to help this guy who glued robots onto his maxim commercial?" Yeah, so, I enjoyed this movie 'cause of the robots and 'splosions, but it's a very, very guilty enjoyment. Ultimately, I can't say anyone who disliked this movie is wrong. Also, as cool as guys jumping from buildings (no girls, I don't think) is, it was entirely unnecessary and didn't make much sense, and that's pretty much the theme of the movie. And opening with an ass-shot? I just...ugh. Alright, I'm going to stop thinking about this movie because it's spoiling my currently groovy, new-comic-day vibe.
